“Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.” - Psalm 91:9–11

The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.” - Psalm 121:7–8

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” - Isaiah 54:17

Heavenly Father, in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, I come before Your throne of grace and mercy on behalf of my family today. You are the Lord of Hosts, our Shield and Defender, our Refuge and Fortress. You have said in Your Word, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10).

Today, I run into Your name — Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our Banner; Jehovah Shammah, the Lord who is Present; Jehovah Tsidkenu, the Lord our Righteousness; Jehovah Shalom, the Lord our Peace; Jehovah Rohi, our Shepherd; and Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. I decree that Your name becomes a wall of fire around my household and a glory within (Zechariah 2:5).

1. The Covering of the Blood of Jesus

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your precious blood — the blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). Today, I plead the blood of Jesus over every member of my family: over our bodies, our souls, our minds, and our spirits.

Let the blood of Jesus be upon the doorposts and lintels of our homes, just as it was in Egypt, when the destroyer passed over (Exodus 12:13). I declare that no plague, pestilence, disease, or demonic affliction shall come near our dwelling. “When I see the blood, I will pass over you,” You said, and I decree that same Passover covering over us now — in the name of Jesus.

2. The Hedge of Divine Protection

Father, Your Word declares that You put a hedge of protection around Job, his household, and all that he possessed (Job 1:10). I ask You to raise that divine hedge around my family today. Surround us with Your angelic warriors — mighty ones who excel in strength, who do Your Word (Psalm 103:20).

Let the angel of the Lord encamp around us (Psalm 34:7). Assign warring angels to our gates, to stand guard over our property, our vehicles, our travels, and our sleep. No evil shall befall us, and no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

3. The Covenant of Preservation

O God of covenant, You have promised, “I will make an everlasting covenant with them: that I will not turn away from doing them good” (Jeremiah 32:40). You preserve those who love You and deliver them from every evil work (2 Timothy 4:18).

Therefore, I decree that my family is kept in the covenant of life. The covenant of salt that cannot be corrupted, the covenant of peace that cannot be broken, and the covenant of grace sealed in the blood of Jesus.

We shall live and not die, and declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17). No sudden tragedy shall take us by surprise. Our destinies shall not be cut short. The snare is broken, and we have escaped — for our help is in the name of the Lord (Psalm 124:7–8).

4. Protection Against Evil Forces and Night Terrors

Father, Your Word says, “You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day” (Psalm 91:5). Therefore, I rebuke every arrow of darkness, every evil decree, and every satanic assignment targeted against my family.

I nullify every curse, every demonic projection, and every word spoken in secret places against our peace and progress. I dismantle every altar of witchcraft, jealousy, monitoring spirit, and ancestral claim in the name of Jesus Christ.

As it is written, “There is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there divination against Israel” (Numbers 23:23). I declare, there is no enchantment against my family — for we are covered by the blood and hidden in Christ.

5. Preservation in Our Going Out and Coming In

Lord, according to Psalm 121:7–8, “The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.”

Preserve us when we travel by road, air, or sea. Preserve us in our workplaces, schools, and communities. Let no accident, ambush, or evil occurrence befall us. Go before us as a consuming fire and be our rear guard (Deuteronomy 9:3; Isaiah 52:12).

6. Preservation of Mind, Spirit, and Relationships

Father, I declare that You will keep us in perfect peace, whose minds are stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3). Preserve our thoughts from fear, anxiety, and depression. Guard our hearts from offense, bitterness, and division.

Let the bond of love remain unbroken among us. Fill our home with Your presence, Your Word, and Your worship. Let our conversations be seasoned with grace. May our children walk in truth, wisdom, and purity.

I decree that no spirit of rebellion, addiction, or confusion shall find a place in our family. Our home shall be a dwelling of righteousness, a habitation of peace, and a sanctuary of divine order.

7. Preservation of Destiny and Legacy

Lord, You said in Psalm 33:11, “The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.” Therefore, I declare that the destiny of my family shall be preserved across generations.

No destiny thief shall steal our purpose. No voice of limitation shall silence our calling. Every seed of greatness within us shall manifest. Our children shall be mighty in the land (Psalm 112:2). The works of our hands are blessed. Our name shall not be erased from the book of life.

Father, preserve our legacy in faith. Let our family altar remain burning. May every generation that proceeds from us know You, serve You, and love You all their days.

8. Thanksgiving and Prophetic Decree

Father, I thank You that You have heard me. Your Word says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1). Therefore, we abide under Your shadow. We live under Your covering.

I decree and declare: Our family is untouchable by evil. Our borders are secured by divine angels. Our future is preserved in the hands of God. Our destiny shall shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).

We will not fear bad news; our hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord (Psalm 112:7). We are surrounded, defended, and preserved by the eternal God whose arms are underneath us (Deuteronomy 33:27).

And now, by the authority of the name of Jesus, I seal this prayer. Let Your preservation power rest upon our family — body, soul, and spirit — today and forevermore. In Jesus’ powerful name, Amen and Amen.

Life Applications:

1. Daily Family Prayer Time

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

Set aside a specific time every day to pray as a family. Use the scripture-rich prayer as a template or guide. Encourage children to participate by speaking short declarations, like “God protects me!”

Morning or evening is ideal.

Sing or Play worship music to create a spiritual atmosphere.

Keep a family journal to record answered prayers.

This will establish spiritual unity, reinforces faith in God’s protection, and sets a rhythm of covenant obedience in the household.

2. Declare Scripture Over Your Home

Walk through your home daily or weekly, declaring key protection scriptures over each room, doorway, and area: Psalm 91, Isaiah 54:17, Psalm 121:7–8.

Say aloud: “No weapon formed against this room shall prosper in Jesus’ name.”

Pray over bedrooms, windows, entrances, and vehicles.

Use anointing oil on doors or walls if culturally and spiritually appropriate.

Your home becomes a spiritually fortified environment; children and adults feel a tangible sense of safety.

3. Create a “Family Covenant of Protection”

Draft a written or verbal covenant where every family member commits to praying, honoring God, and walking in faith. Include promises to speak life, guard hearts, and uphold peace.

They will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to them.” (Jeremiah 29:12)

Post the covenant somewhere visible in the home.

Read it aloud weekly.

Celebrate milestones or answered prayers as a family.

This will strengthen family accountability, creates a culture of faith, and ensures protection is not just prayed for but lived.

4. Teach Children the Power of God’s Covering

Explain in simple terms the power of God’s protection — angels, blood of Jesus, and the Lord as our refuge. Encourage children to pray over themselves before school, play, or sleep.

Create a “Prayer Shield” ritual at bedtime: children lift hands and declare: “I am covered by the blood of Jesus.”

Encourage memorizing one protection scripture each week.

This will build a generation confident in God’s protection and equipped to guard themselves spiritually.

5. Guard Your Family’s Emotional and Mental Health

Protection is not only physical but also emotional and mental. Pray for peace, wisdom, and resilience against fear, anxiety, or depression.

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Begin each day with affirmations of peace and faith.

Teach children to replace fear with Scripture.

Encourage journaling of fears and then praying them into God’s hands.

This will promote spiritual and mental resilience, reduces stress, and aligns hearts with God’s protection.

6. Create a Visual Reminder of Protection

Place symbols of faith around the home: Scripture wall art, crosses, or bookmarks in key areas. These serve as visual cues to pray and declare God’s protection.

Near doors: Psalm 91 verses

Children’s rooms: “God guards you wherever you go”

Kitchen or living room: “No evil shall befall this home”

This will reinforce spiritual awareness, reminds the family to walk under divine covering daily, and integrates faith into physical spaces.

7. Declare Daily Prophetic Affirmations

Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” (James 5:16)

Each morning or evening, speak declarations such as:

• “No weapon formed against my family shall prosper.”

• “Our home is covered by the blood of Jesus.”

• “Angels guard our going out and coming in.”

This will reinforces faith, creates a spoken spiritual barrier, and keeps protection active in everyday life.

Prayer of Preservation and Protection for Your Family

Heavenly Father, In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, I come boldly into Your presence on behalf of my family. You are the Lord of Hosts, the Almighty Protector, the Fortress that cannot be shaken. As it is written, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10), today I run into that strong tower for every member of my household.

Lord, cover our home, our minds, our bodies, our hearts, and our spirits with the blood of Jesus. Let the blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24) speak protection, life, and preservation over us now. Let every door, window, and threshold of our dwelling be marked and sanctified by the covenant of Your blood. Let destruction pass over us. Let plagues, sickness, accidents, attacks, and evil plans vanish in the presence of Your power.

Father, raise a hedge of divine protection around us, as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Assign Your angels to encamp around our home, vehicles, workplaces, and schools, to watch over our comings and goings (Psalm 34:7). Let no evil plan of the enemy prosper, for Your Word declares, “No weapon formed against us shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).

Preserve our destinies, Father. Let every generational curse, ancestral stronghold, or hidden enemy plan be neutralized by the authority of Jesus Christ. May our children walk in wisdom, righteousness, and purity. May peace dwell in our home. May our hearts be steadfast, trusting in You for all things (Psalm 112:7).

Father, let our family experience supernatural safety, favor, and divine order. Protect our finances, relationships, health, and futures. Make us a family whose life reflects Your glory, whose doors are guarded, and whose destiny is untouchable by evil.

Lord, let our home be a sanctuary of peace, a city set on a hill, and a habitation of Your Spirit. Strengthen our faith, fortify our hearts, and increase our trust in Your covenant. We declare, by Your mercy and grace, that we are preserved in body, mind, soul, and spirit — now and forevermore. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prophetic Declarations

Speak these daily over your family:

1. Covenant of Protection:

I declare that my family is covered by the blood of Jesus. Every door, window, and entrance is marked by the covenant of God. No evil shall enter our home.”

2. Divine Shield:

The Lord is our shield and fortress. Angels encamp around us to protect us from harm, sickness, danger, and spiritual attack (Psalm 91:11).”

3. Destiny Preservation:

No weapon formed against our family shall prosper, and every tongue rising in judgment is condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Our destinies are preserved and aligned with God’s perfect plan.”

4. Peace and Stability:

We declare peace, joy, and divine order in our home. Fear, anxiety, and strife have no place here. God’s perfect peace guards our hearts and minds (Isaiah 26:3).”

5. Generational Protection:

Our children, grandchildren, and generations to come are covered by the blood of Jesus. No generational curse or spiritual attack shall prosper against us.”

6. Supernatural Covering:

The Lord preserves our going out and our coming in (Psalm 121:7–8). Our lives are hidden in Christ, untouchable, and protected under the shadow of the Almighty.”

7. Authority Over the Enemy:

We declare that all plans of the enemy targeting our family are nullified. Demonic schemes, witchcraft, or secret attacks against us are exposed and destroyed by fire in Jesus’ name.”

Beloved, as you pray, and speak these declarations daily:

1. Make it a family lifestyle: Don’t limit protection prayers to emergencies. Make them part of your morning, evening, and transitional routines.

2. Activate faith through action: Walk through your home, speak Scripture aloud, and bless each room. Show your faith in visible ways.

3. Teach the next generation: Train children in spiritual awareness, prayer, and Scripture declarations. Let them speak life and protection over themselves.

4. Declare continuously: Speak protection and covenant words over your family regularly. The spoken Word has power to create invisible walls of fire.

5. Walk in obedience and peace: Protection is activated in obedience, love, and trust. Let the Word of God guide your family decisions, actions, and relationships.

As you consistently pray and declare these words, your home becomes a spiritual fortress. Your family walks in divine covering, your children flourish under God’s hedge, and the enemy cannot penetrate what God has preserved. Stand firm in faith, speak life, and walk boldly — for your household is under supernatural protection.

If this teaching has inspired and empowered your destiny, share it and spark transformation in another life.” — MC CYRIL
